En effet, le nombre de s\u00e9ances auquel ont droit les clients est souvent restreint (ex. : CLSC, PAE) ou bien le budget des clients se trouve limit\u00e9. Dans de tels contextes, les th\u00e9rapeutes ont alors avantage \u00e0 ma\u00eetriser des techniques de th\u00e9rapie br\u00e8ve. Je me propose de vous en faire d\u00e9couvrir une des plus utiles : l\u2019EMT (Eye Movement Technique) du psychologue \u00e9tats-unien Fred Friedberg, Ph. D.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que l&rsquo;EMT?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une technique de psychoth\u00e9rapie simple et efficace qui permet de g\u00e9rer les \u00e9motions n\u00e9gatives au moyen de stimulations bilat\u00e9rales semblables \u00e0 celles utilis\u00e9es en EMDR (p. ex. : tapotements en alternance sur les genoux, mouvements oculaires). Une s\u00e9ance, rarement plus, suffit pour g\u00e9rer la ou les \u00e9motions n\u00e9gatives associ\u00e9es \u00e0 une situation pr\u00e9sente ou future de nature non traumatique.
